  This small cordless saw packs quite a punch. I was immediately impressed with the balanced weight. When I used it for the first time, it made quick work of pruning a tree. Previously, I used loppers, but those produce arm fatigue. I will use it on bamboo next, which is the reason why I got this nimble little saw. The battery life was sufficient, but did not fully run it down so I cannot confirm how long a single charge lasts. It has the expected safety features like a top chain guard and a safety on/off button. The reason I docked it one star is not because of performance, it works well, it is because oiling the chain requires guesswork. An automatic oiler should be on every chainsaw.

  I already own a mini chainsaw. It works ok but it looked like this one has better features and more accessories so I decided to give it a try. As it turns out, it's a great little saw and better in several ways than the one I already own.The saw comes in a very nice and sturdy carrying case and everything fits nicely in the case. It comes with two batteries, two chains, eye protection, gloves, a charger, and a little screwdriver (the screwdriver is a bit cheap but does the job).The saw comes fully assembled and the batteries have at least some charge. This means that you can take it out of the case, put on one of the batteries, and fire it right up. There are good safety features. There is a baffle on top of the blade that shifts upwards as you cut through a branch, or whatever you're cutting. There is a hand guard. There's a safety button that must be pressed before pulling the trigger.I tried the saw out on a dead limb, about 5 inches in diameter. It cut it easily and the saw is well balanced and easy to control.This little saw will be very useful in trimming branches and limbs in the yard. cutting old 2X4s into kindling, and cutting branches for firewood when we go camping.The only drawback, and I didn't deduct any stars because it's common on saws in this price range, is that there is no chain oiler on the saw. Sure, it would be handy to have one, but it's a minor inconvenience.It's a very nice saw for the price and for general light use around the yard or campsite it works great.

  To be honest, this is my first electric chainsaw. I am so used to gas chainsaws that when I first picked this up, I was totally in shock on how light it was. It was lighter than some pieces of wood that I have cut. So, I was a little skeptical about how it would perform. Well, I was pleasantly surprised on how well it cut wood especially tree branches. It is really handy if you need to cut small to medium size branches of a tree. I think anyone that owns a farm with trees certainly needs to get this, especially after a severe storm and trees have fallen across your driveway or house. I really like the fact that they include everything that you need to use this chainsaw including gloves, protective safety glasses, an extra chain and a battery and wall charger. Although, it would have been nice to include an extra battery, but I certainly can't complain. If you order the 6" model, it does include 2 batteries instead of just 1. Something to consider. I also like the safety features as well, such as the safety switch and the splash guard. But one feature I really do like is the variable speed switch which is really great when you are cutting different types of trees with different densities in the wood fiber. Oak, walnut, maple, and cherry trees are all hardwood trees so you need to cut slowly through the wood. While douglas fir, pine, cedar, and spruce are all softwood trees so you can cut through them quickly. Overall, a great small and very portable chainsaw that anyone would love to own.I highly recommend this product!

I am not paid for these reviews.This Mini Cordless 6-Inch Electric Power Chain Saw with 2 Batteries 40V Battery Powered 4.0Ah is a bit smaller, lighter, and less powerful than I expected. Why? The title of the advertisement calls it "2 Batteries 40V Battery Powered 4.0Ah." and you do get two batteries. You also get a small battery charger that will bring each battery up to full power, one at a time. The trouble is that each battery is only rated for 20 volts and 2.0 amp-hours, so you have to add the ratings for the two batteries together to get the 40 volts and 4.0 amp hours. You CANNOT use both batteries at the same time on this mini-chainsaw. That means that it is half as powerful as expected, and the batteries have one half of the capacity expected. This is what I call misleading advertising, and so I have down-graded my rating to three stars. Yes, this chain saw will cut small branches, and yes, it is highly portable. It simply does not live up to the expectations created by the manufacturer's description.

  I needed some tree limbs trimmed and this mini cordless chainsaw does the job well. The super sharp blades cut through the limbs like a hot knife slicing through butter. The motor is powerful which provided plenty of torque for cutting through tress, limbs, and shrubs much simpler. This chainsaw makes cutting through limbs so much easier and faster with its great power precision. The chainsaw is light weight so I can cut longer without having hands fatigue and not having to stop and rest making the job go faster. The big battery helped in keeping the chainsaw running longer and it’s easy to charge. The chainsaw comes with many safety features to keep me safe when operating the chainsaw such as chainsaw guard, security lock, and safety baffle to prevent wood chips from flying every where. The chainsaw does an excellent job for cutting small logs and tress which saves me lots of time and energy.

  This is a nice little hand chainsaw. It is very light and easy to use. The battery charger was a bit different from what I have seen in, for example, DeWalt batteries. It was not at all obvious, I had to really look for a bit to find the charging port (on the top, in the attaching bracket - it is a round hole). I probably could have found it more quickly if I had looked at the instructions. Anyway, I charged up the battery first, and then attached it and powered it up, seemed to work well. I haven't tested it on the trees yet, not really the weather for it. I will note that the battery attachment and removal takes a bit of effort. Anyway, pretty nice and low priced. Do note you need to apply some bar and chain oil to the chain manually and keep it oiled while using, there is no onboard oil tank and oiler mechanism, but I don't anticipate this being a problem.

  This was $60 when I ordered it, and about a month later it's got a $22 coupon, so definitely be on the lookout for a good deal if you don't need it right away. What's great about this is that it's already put together. So many things you order these days you have to assemble yourself, so it's refreshing not to have to do that with this. It's winter in the midwest so we haven't tested it outside yet, but the chain is sharp and it's comfortable to hold. Nice that it comes with an extra chain too. The gloves are so-so. Unless this is your first tool, you probably already have some work gloves laying around the house; those seem unnecessary to have in this kit. We have a regular size chainsaw and a polesaw, but this is perfect for the small projects where you don't want to get out the big saw.

  Transitioning to battery-powered tools has been a huge upgrade for me, and this 6-inch mini chainsaw is no exception to my new tools. Offering comparable performance to more well-known brands at half the price, it's a valuable addition to my toolkit and a must have. The package includes both the battery and charger, and after a brief hour and a half of charging, it was ready to go. The chainsaw's smooth operation surprised me as it effortlessly cut through overgrown weeds and dead bushes. While I haven't tested it on thicker stumps yet, I'm thoroughly impressed with its motor and overall utility. A great purchase that has proven to be both powerful and convenient.

  The media could not be loaded. This mini chainsaw came with a nice black case, gloves, glasses, 2 batteries and charger, and a protective handle. I tried it on a tree branch with a 7-inch diameter and felt like it was a little too much for it, so not for heavy duty. It was awesome and fast for the smaller 2-3 inch branches. It’s small and fits well in my hand, I liked that feeling. The batteries, however, kept shifting slightly and disconnecting, which was a little annoying, but I would reset it and was able to continue quickly.
