Not a professional carpenter so I didn’t want to buy an 800 dollar table saw. Table saw came with extra pieces not explained in the directions. Once assembled it ripped cuts very nice and saw was powerful. Thinned they made slight changes to the table saw but not the directions. I was able to figure it. Good tool for my around the home projects.
I purchased this for my husband. He's worked in the construction field for 40 years. So he's a very experienced user. These are his expert opinions I'm relaying to you.He had serious reservations about this because the item specs state only metric. **It has both measurements!** The US standard and world standard. Don't let that part stop you.He is overall very pleased with this product. With a few reservations. The powerful motor cuts through just about everything like butter. No burr mark are left. This really impressed him. Like with everything, if you take the time to select your desired cut specs and set them deliberately then recheck before you cut.... you will get a perfect cut every time. If anyone gives this a negative review it's definitely user error. If you have the skills and knowledge this will make you very happy. His dislikes are that it's got a lot of plastic parts. That's to be expected at this reasonable price point. He wishes the gate was longer so he could use this on larger items (like sheets of plywood). I believe an extension is available that can be purchased separately. That will be a future investment. We can't determine product longevity just yet. He's only had this for a few months. It's been used daily with no issues. If any issues do arise I will update my review. This purchase was to replace a table saw he used for over 12 years before it finally died. This is better in many ways but lacks some perks the other one had (like all metal parts & larger gate. The motor was not as powerful though so lots of burrs.) We got our money's worth out of that. We hope this lasts just as long.
Bought this saw after lots of searching. Had one long ago. It was not as powerful. This is 10" so you can cut 4x4 and its 15amp so it gonna get the jobs done. Very loud but that I think is its power. The stand is pretty sturdy. Not crazy about the plastic body but I guess they are all like that now. But I think we will like this saw better than our last one. The put together is a little daunting as you need to get the blade protector just right. The instructions were helpful. Now let the honey do list begin....
I didn't see any reviews or anything for this tool so I decided to take a shot at it and see how it works. I don't regret my decision to buy this at all, the machine functions properly and to my standards. The manual seemed like it might be a little outdated.. like they made some manufacturing changes so every setup step isn't exactly right.. but it's close enough to figure out.
I was looking for a new table saw. I ended up taking a shot at this one after reading the mostly good reviews. It's really good quality and I had no issue with blade alignment and etc. Honestly, I'm very happy with it and it works really well. Home depot wants $300+ for a table saw and reviews aren't as good. It's a no brained.
Buy American.
It took about 20 minutes to set it up. Once it was ready I used it to split multiple treated 2x6's into lengths for a trailer deck I was building to carry windows. Most definitely need a sawdust bag or a vacuum line to suck up the dust, but she cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter. The plastic us surprisingly durable. The metal legs and supports do the job once assembled into the stand. Would have been nice if the stand had wheels for moving it around the garage. Otherwise it's was ab excellent find.
After assembling the stand, when I put the weight of the saw on it, one of the legs buckled in half. I can’t imagine a less sturdy stand for a saw.
Ok, so the only problem I have with this product is the instructions (or lack there of). The assembly was very difficult due to the lack of set up instructions. I suppose the great price makes up for the time that I spent getting it ready to use. Don't get me wrong, THIS IS A GREAT TABLE SAW FOR THE PRICE. It really is. But man, the instructions are a nightmare. Just be prepared for aggravation. Get through that and you'll be very pleased.PRODUCT UPDATE: I was having trouble locking the bevel in place due to all of the plastic parts but I finally found a solution. I removed the plastic bevel lock and placed 3 metal washers on the bevel lock screw, then when I tightened the bevel lock, it held. Took me a couple days to figure this out due to the poor instructions but it works. Still frustrated with the provided instructions but love the saw
I put it together, pressed the switch and nothing. After putting in a service request and not getting a response I was prepared to send it back for a refund but the seller emailed me and told me to keep it and not to bother sending it back and that a refund was being issued. I took the electrical box apart and it turned out that the wires from the motor were not plugged into the switch. I've requested a wiring diagram so I can plug in the wires. Not sure I'll get one. Guess the saw was never tested to make sure it ran. I gave them a high rating for their customer service.
