Purchased this blade to use on trim throughout the house. Ended up doing the trim, stairs for a deck, built a coffee table, made some shelves...you get the point. This blade is awesome, cuts through wood like butter and leaves a very smooth finish with no splintering. This is the first blade I've splurged on and it was worth every penny.Pros:Smooth, smooth, smooth cuttingLeaves no splintersCons:The price seems high but it's not considering what you're gettingBuying this blade made me a little selfish, I don't like to let people borrow it.Disclaimer: I'm no carpenter or construction worker, far from it. I'm just a guy that likes to do things around the house himself, and buying this blade gets me there. Caution: you might find yourself looking for things to cut with this blade, things that you probably don't even need to cut.

Only negative is the red color of blade will sometimes come off onto the wood surface and you need to sand it off

This is replacing an old and woll used Freud blade.Happy camper!

80 tooth gives you a really clean cut on a miter, radial or table saw. I make cutting boards and tables to give (not sell) to people, and I've used 100 tooth and this 80 tooth to give a clean edge and remove very little wood (thin Kerf), and it's almost as clean as running it thru a joiner/plainer.So if truth be told I did glue up a tabletop with maple, purple heart, and walnut (see picture), by just using this blade, but the joins are seamless without saw marks.

I bought a 10”/80T Diablo Ultra Finish Blade. I paid for just one, but i got two! So to ease my conscience i called Ultracell. The man answered promptly. I asked him what i should do. He kinda laughed about it with me, and he said “ if you got two of them, even though you only paid for one, you can keep them both.” Thank you Ultracell

These are very smooth cutting blades. I can cross cut hardwood and the cut will have a satin sheen like it was finely sanded. Highly recommend.
