I like the long cord
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. So easy. Drill a whole, put it in, screw it down and plug it in. Done! I put one in my deck and one in the front of the deck. Perfect for seasonal lights or? Without dragging extension cords everywhere. Very clean look!
For me was the only choice to upgrade a iron board as I use to use in Europe. Made a hole in the metal iron support and install it there as power extension cord.
This was exactly what I needed. My backyard doesn’t have an electric outlet. So I bought this to help out. I drilled out the 1.75 inch hole, placed the gasket, pushed the outlet into the gasket, and finished with the screws to secure it. It runs into my laundry room and the outlet is about 5 feet from the back wall. The weatherproof cover fits very securely and works as intended.
Awesome AC outlet.You do have to drill a 1 3/4" in hole. Not a 1 1/2"
Well made and exactly as described
It’s exactly what I excepted after reading the description and reviewing the pictures. My only complaint is there isn’t a stencil with the product which would help save a little time. Even without a stencil it isn’t difficult to remove a few pieces and trace.
Good quality product, does what it says.
So I have a solar panel on the top of my trailer powering a lithium battery bank inside my utility trailer. Instead of running an extension cord to my inverter through the open door (possibly pinching the cord with the door) I installed this power cord through the wall of the trailer. I will admit to applying clear silicone to the back of the plug but I did cut a hole through the wall of my utility trailer. Better safe that sorry. The waterproof cover is great and the cord (10 ft) is perfect length to reach the inverter and stay out of the way. It has rained heavily the last three days but there have been no leaks and the plug under the cover is dry. Excellent! The cord it thicker than I thought it would be and it is very robust. I can now plug into my inverter from outside the trailer and keep the door to my trailer closed. I have already pulled 1,300 wats, 120 Volts, through the cable without any issue. Perfect for delivering power. You can buy this with confidence. It is very well made and I have no doubt it will last a very long time.
