  Husband here. This blower is satisfactory for residential use, but it eats batteries alive. The battery that came with it is a joke. I purchased four 10 Ah batteries (expensive) and a 4-battery charger (also expensive). If I blow everything off (concrete driveways, crushed rock and 1/4 minus driveways, sidewalks, and riprap) I will use up 3, maybe 4 of the 10 Ah batteries. The blower does do a nice job, though. But if you have deciduous trees, and do Fall cleanup, in my opinion this blower won't be adequate. Also, in the hot desert summer heat the batteries overheat and shut down before they run out of juice.

  It's pretty light and has good power but it will go through a battery. The 5ah is OK but if you use the 2ah it won't last very long at all.

  Ok I just received this 3/5/24 I charged the battery all the way and used it 3 cars to blow water off and on rims and grills. The 20v 5 hour battery that came with it died. I put in a fully charged 20 v 2 hr battery and it killed that 1 in 4 minutes. I'm going to charge them again and give her another shot. I has good power when a fresh battery is put in on it but after a few minutes it kills the battery so far not impressed. May have to return.I am adding to my first review. I purchased a 2nd 20v 5AH battery. When it came in it had 1 bar on the battery life indicator. I charged it and it showed charged in 20 minutes. That didn't seem right so I took it off the charger and reinsert it and the indicator showed it wasnt charged yet. I left it longer and it fully charged later. I did the same to the first battery and it made a difference. The batteries are lasting longer and the blower itself is working as advertised and I am giving it a much deserved 5 stars now. I actually don't believe in giving a great review within a week of receiving a product. It takes a bit to make sure it works correctly to give a good review. This is a good product in my opinion noe that I have used it worked out the kinks.

  Blows like a hurricane! Really easy to use, I like the ability to throttle it with my thumb. The battery is a good one as is the charger. Delivery took 3 days. For the past several years I have been purchasing DeWalt only so I need just one charger and one battery style. I have the limb saw, the mini chainsaw, a hammer drill and now the blower. Happy with every one of them. And happy with the price. The chainsaw is fantastic, saves me a lot of time and energy with the small stuff. I use a riding mower to push the leaves to the woods but all those little spaces near the house of buildings......I just solved that. Was using a plug in and 200 feet of extension cord. No more of that nonsense!

  I like that it’s much lighter than a regular gas blower, I’ve noticed that twigs and small gravel on my driveway do not blow away as easily compared to my gas blower, and I’ve noticed the 5ah battery is the best option, I have a 3 and a 4ah and they fail just short of finishing my driveway (I do have a large driveway, so having backup batteries doesn’t hurt) if you think you can use the small 1.5 batteries that come from the drill driver combos it will work but your not going to get too far, the noise level is much less than any gas blower out there, you won’t need to wear ear protection while using thisThis still gets a five from me for the noise level, lightweight and it came with a 5ah battery , living on a completely wooded lot of mature oaks I will still have my backpack blower for the extreme leaf drop in the fall but will use this all summer for quick cleanup of the driveway/deck/patio
