  With a long-standing brand like Shop-Vac behind the Shop-Air leave blower I expected a well-built product that provides power and reliability. While the Shop-Air blower meets the mark on quality and durability, it doesn’t quite live up to expectations in terms of power and battery life.The blower’s low speed is enough to move light weight debris and leaves off of smooth surfaces, but don’t anything beyond that requires bumping up to the high speed blower setting, which drains a fully charged battery in 10 minutes or less. As such, this blower is good for quick jobs, but users shouldn’t expect it to manage clearing leaves from an entire lawn.Regardless of its limitations, this blower will see plenty of use clearing my porch, sidewalk, and deck. I will just have to stick to mulching and raking for keeping the lawn clean, however.Overall - This is a good light duty blower, but look elsewhere if you are looking for something to manage larger jobs.

  The Shop-air leaf blower is apparently a product from the company that made the original Shop Vac so you know it'll have some oomph behind it. Unlike most of the conventional generic cordless leaf blowers flooding Amazon, the Shop-Air blower is built simple but tough, with rather good performance for the price.In terms of construction, it is made rugged, with a modernistic yet minimalistic design. Like most cordless leaf blowers, it can be broken down into the motor unit and extension tubes for very compact storage. The motor unit is made of a far more rugged plastic and a solid handle compared to other portable leaf blowers I've used, as emphasized by the hefty weight of the blower. The handle is unique but quite well balanced and comfortable to hold single handedly, as well as operating the switches. There is a power button which glows green or blue depending on whether it is low or high wind output. The spring loaded push switch rotates between either setting, and it is easy enough to operate with your thumb. The battery is relatively heavy duty at 20V and 4 AH, allowing it to run at high output for up to 20 minutes at a time. The battery also has a gauge on it to show remaining power.The performance is excellent, with strong and wide area wind. It is in the upper class of cordless leaf blowers in terms of performance, and is better than my corded leaf blower, but below that of gas powered blowers. It is plenty powerful for home use and can clear pebbled concrete of wet pine needles pretty easily, which I use as the challenge test for leaf blowers.For the price, it is an excellent cordless leaf blower with powerful output. If there was a second battery it would be much better, even if the price was increased.

  I really wanted to like this product. It is way too weak. I didn’t wanna spend more but this thing just doesn’t pack the punch I was expecting for an air blower

  The media could not be loaded. Really nice! Good quality. Very simple to assemble. Just slip a couple of pieces together and you are ready. Battery comes partially charged so you can use it out of the box. I opted to fully charge mine and it took no time at all. I was pretty impressed with the quality of this! It has some power to it! It's also sort of fun to use! I don't have much of a yard, so I got this mainly to clear off my patio of debris/dog hair and to try on snow removal in the winter. It has 2 speeds. The higher speed really blows!!!! It actually pushes you back a bit. I think this would work well for leaves, yard clippings, etc. It does get a little heavy after awhile, but it's super easy to stop and start and has a little attached base that you can set it down with. Really happy with this item!

  This has more power than I expected. Most battery operated blowers can't move a piece of paper, but this one worked perfectly. I was able to blow grass, and leaves with no problem. The battery charged rather quickly before the first use and after. It was also an easy self explanatory assembly. A must have for the summer of fall months.
