  Meets expectationsI used this on my rigid table saw. The box didn't include the nylon washes that were on the parts list, but instructions noted they were to prevent scratches. I don't care if the cross piece gets scratched, so I assembly without them. It went together without any other issues. To use it go to YT and search for "Workshop Companion" his "Crucial Table Saw Alignments and Adjustments" video. This video will make the purchase of the gauge worth every penny.

  The gauge itself and metal bars are marvelous. Well built, solid, seems accurate and is super easy to use. The back supporting bracket screws are so tiny you need to use an eyeglass screwdriver. Some of the parts were missing. Those that were there were very poor quality, one of the Side Spring screws didn't work. On top of that, the instructions for assembling are terrible. Very small pictures and poor English. Could have been a truly stellar package if they'd put a bit more thought and effort into how the thing mounts. The parts package is what needs to be replaced, didn't want to return and possibly get a worse one.

  I had purchased a new table saw and needed a new dial indicator to make certain that the blade and miter slot were parallel. I ordered it and was told a delivery date and expected it on that day. Amazon sent a email advising me that the order had been delayed and that I could get a refund. Unfortunately I took that route, I say unfortunately, because I purchased another dial indicator (Not from Amazon) and received it and put it together as the directions told me to. However, it would just not stay in the miter slot and I never could get an accurate reading. Subsequently I re-ordered the Neoteck digital caliper and received in on the day that I was told. I assembled it as the directions indicated, and it worked like a charm. My brand new table saw’s top was not in alignment. W/ the help of the Neoteck caliper I was able to “dial it in” to w/in 0.001 inch.It is very well made and easy to assemble and read. You can use it in imperial measurements or metric. This came w/ two batteries and a very well made storage case. If you need a accurate and well made dial indicator, purchase the Neoteck, you won’t be sorry

  This works great so far. It helped me make sure my table saw blade and fence was dialed in. The directions aren't the best and the case isn't the greatest, but overall the item appears to be accurate once you get it set up. I was having trouble getting my table saw dialed in with a combination square. I bought this and it showed my blade was perfect, but my fence was a bit off. It helped me to get it lined up just about perfect. I would recommend this as a great option for a lot better price than most.

  Even if I’d been able to assemble this piece of junk I doubt it would have been any good. Manufacturing is crap, 4 mice screws on the back face to take out…better have jewelers/watch repair tools as the screws heads are the smallest I’ve ever had to deal with. As you can see, only managed to get 3 of the 4 screws out. Last one was over torqued and stripped. Made the whole tool useless immediately. You have to take out all 4 screws to set the back plate to the jig and to change battery. USELESS now!!!Design is crap, seems flimsy even if it were put together with all the right tools; note that at the junction of the jig to the measurement probe…it’s assembled with a spring!! WTH?? Precision, measurement, tool, connected to its jig with a spring? How in the world would that ever give a proper measurement?Additionally, not only are the screws my size, so is the instruction book. Of which is also also missing how to actually mount the plate onto the jig. You kind of just look at it and figure it out. But even with my best classes, I still can’t read all of the instructions on their book because some of it isn’t very complementary colors to each other, instead of contrasting letters on backgrounds. That makes it impossible to read white on light orange. So obviously more the instructions are missing.One of the most worthless pieces of junk I’ve ever bought on Amazon, and I’m extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I dragged my ass getting my workshop together and did not put this tool together in time to return it. So it goes up on the shelf along with all the other Chinese disappointments that are out there. Off to find a proper American-made measurement tool. Save your money don’t buy this.

  This works very well and extremely repeatable.The indicator only comes on when the on button is pressed (I saw a review indicating otherwise).This is an extremely good value compared to others. I bought a higher priced unit at the same time to compare and sent it back because this one did everything it did.My only complaint is minor and it is that it has the stops in the arm which makes you have to remove and reinstall the arm to reach further distances. But it isn't difficult an a minor annoyance.I was able to very accurately measure my saw alignment as well as my fence alignment with very good results.

  When compared to other this one has same readingI modified it for my need , when I will need it it be very fast set up .No one want to use a wrench when needed to set up so I made it a single stop .It is high quality aluminum , I notched on either side so the unit would fold on itself taking less space ( there is no metal flexibility measure is accurateI also added a saddle on the bottom , most table saw have a 1 / 8 “ slot so it would be easier to use on the table sawNext I I will make a box and send the plastic one to the recyclingBy doing it that way the merchand save 1 torque wrench , 2 Spring , 5 washers , 2 bolts on poolBased on my experience I would recommend this item .

  I don't have any way to verify if this is 100% accurate, but for woodworking I can't imagine the need for any more precision. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and the included mounts allow you to set the dial indicator up for different uses. In a few hours of adjustments, I was able to square up my jointer to .001" across the length of the infeed and outfeed tables, my table saw blade is now perfectly aligned with both miter slots, and the table saw fence is within ~.001" of parallel front-to-back.The only con I can see to using this is that I'll no longer be able to blame my tools for any cattywampus cuts.

  At this writing i have not used the product but i feel i need to respond. I have no doubt once i set this up it will be just fine at measuring run out on my table saw. However i've seen in the past difficult to follow directions from Chinese products. This however is just about the worst. They really need to learn the English terms for the table saw parts and use them in the instructions. NOT some made up word they think might be close. Trying to guess what they are referring to is not fun. Plus they didn't even give complete instructions on how to assemble the tool. Leaving out one major component altogether. There is no excuse for this. And it was missing 3 of 4 washers required for the assembly. Which i should be able to easily replace. If they don't want to take the time to correct the printed directions they could just provide photos on the website of step by step directions. No wording would be required.
