bought this to replace another Karcher that finally croaked (over 20 years old). I hope this does as well as the old one. This is much easier to use on a small job than the industrial strength gas power washer. I decided to try it in the shower on the tile, NOT the glass. Quick way to clean the shower, probably not recommended, but it worked nicely. The machine runs only when the handle is depressed, so it is nice not to have noise when it is not actually washing. Neat machine, easy to move, easy to use, and quiet.
needed to buy a new one. reserched around and found Karcher is still selling them--they were one of the firsts selling electric ones.this one is compact and light. does a really good job cleaning up the patio. does tasks like blasting green scrunge off of chairs and stairs.like all of these pressure washers, you need to insure there is enough FLOW of water for it to work. Initially it was stuttering, then i remembed i had my whole house water filter in the line. when i switched the whole house filter to bypass, it worked fine.despite its cheap price and small size, it MOVES A LOT of water at a pretty high pressure.Being compact, i can easily store it in the basement for the winter too!I am very happy with the investment.about the only thing i wish is that the pressure hose would be another 10 feet longer.
Went together easily enough and is well made nice brass fittings. I figured the 1800 PSI was going to be enough but it took a long time to clean the concrete patio and clean off the fountain algae build-up.
The media could not be loaded. I bought the 1800PS Cube, and it works amazingly. I've had a Karcher power washer before, but it only had the 15° nozzle. When I cleaned, I had to hold the nozzle a few inches from the ground and it tended to leave stripes everywhere. My first time using this product, I initially used only the 15° nozzle, thinking that the "Turbo" would be too powerful for cleaning my paver stones. I was wrong! What a difference! It blasted the dirt and mold away so easily, and didn't leave any streaks behind. I was done in no time. With the old pressure washer my hands and back were so sore and cramped afterward, but this one was much more user-friendly.I'm glad I got the cube instead of the wheeled version. It's easy to move around and it packs so compactly I was able to fit it right on a shelf. The only possible negative criticism would be that it doesn't have an adjustable flow. You can only control the power of the spray by how closely you are to the surface you're cleaning. For my patio I would only need a powerful spray, but if you're cleaning something that can dent, make sure to stand farther back when you first turn the hose on.
Excellent machine, good price, arrived quickly. Packaged very well. Good supportive video and explanation of set up and use. Quickly done.Great machine for small areas or Overall maintenance. Not to be confused with high pressure commercial machines.
I detail cars on the side and wanted a smaller pressure washer that I could easily set up. This 1800 cube’s compact size is perfect and the pressure was more than enough for the car cleaning. I also purchased a flexible 50ft hose and foam cannon so I don’t have to move around the unit to while cleaning cars. I also really like the built in storage for the electrical cord, hose, gun, and nozzles. It makes it super easy to organize when putting away (and setting up). Unit did NOT leak at any of the connections. Great purchase!
The media could not be loaded. Wow…what a great buy. This 1800 version is incredibly powerful. I attached a video of my first project to clean some landscaping stones. Simple setup. Easy to move from place to place. If you are ok with electrical connection, then with enough extension cords, this unit works well. I could not be happier!
Garden hose fitting leaks and cannot be repaired. Poor design. You better plan on ordering new parts to make this work. I am one week past the return window and decided to pull this out while it is 60 degrees. I will reach out to find a better connector. If the warranty works, I’ll raise my rating.
Purchased it over the Christmas holidays, and only used it once so far and only for 15 minutes or so. I'm not expecting it to perform like a gasoline powered washer, and it worked and cleaned as expected. It was easy to assemble and use. I had to use a short extension cord because the integrated large GFCI plug wouldn't fit into my exterior outlet boxes. The only problem I encountered is a minor one. The water hose connection on the side of the washer leaked even after ensuring it was tightened securely. The problem was with the washer inside the connector. I replaced the supplied $0.01 hard rubber washer with a softer $0.02 silicon washer (purchased a box of them a while back on Amazon), and that fixed it. Why the manufacturer would try to save a penny by using an inferior washer makes me wonder what other internal parts might fail next due to their ridiculous cost saving efforts. Fortunately the product has a decent warranty so we'll see.
Seems to power wash sidewalks pretty good. Not meant for a tall person. The wand is very short. Assembly was easy, seems durable. Time will tell.
